Candy Crush Saga, a free game available for Android and iOS devices, has officially taken the world by storm. Everyone you know is probably playing it. Certainly you keep seeing notifications on your Facebook newsfeed, and it's highly probable that your friends keep sending you invitations or frantic requests asking for a free life. What makes this different from similar games that were popular in the past, such as Bejeweled, is more advanced game play. You aren't just trying to match candy pieces, there are also great mini games and challenges.

Draw Something is still going strong. With consistent updates that lead to challenging picture cues, new paint palettes, and other fresh features, players can't get enough of it. You can either pay for Draw Something to get all those updates or you can stick to Draw Something Free, which has ads but still encourages exciting game play. Both versions are available on iPhone and Android, and you can either draw with the people you know or play with random opponents. Beware, if you play with your friends, the competition will get intense.

Slots Heaven is a fun, free slot game that often adds new slots and features for players. You can play it on your phone or your tablet, and it's a great way to keep yourself occupied while you're waiting in line or sitting around watching TV. However, if you take your casino games a little more seriously than cute pictures and imaginary winnings, you should really learn about Luxury Casino instead. It's mobile, too, but you can play it straight from your computer, and there are far more games than just slot machines so it's definitely worth a look.

Do you remember Tetris? Many kids of the 1990s wasted countless hours, bemoaning the absence of long, skinny blocks at a crucial moment or cursing their TV screens when they got one of those nefarious Z-shaped pieces. Now, after scores of imitators, the real Tetris is available for iPhone and Android. It's $0.99 for iOS devices but Android has a free version from which to choose. Even if you pay a dollar, it's worth it. The game works just the way you remember, but now it's hand-held. Who needs a Gameboy when you've got a phone?
