There’s a slew of interesting games landing this week, among them the next game from Torchlight developer Runic Games, titled Hob. It’s a Zelda-like action/adventure game that mixes Runic’s unique animation and polish with a slower, more contemplative experience compared to the Torchlight series.

Hob has been a long time in development, and now that it’s out, we’ve got questions about how it came to be. So we’re thankful to be joined today by Runic Games lead level designer and Hob game director Patrick Blank, who will be answering our questions on the Gamasutra Twitch channel today at 3PM EDT.

If you’ve got questions about making moody, atmospheric games (or just surviving the tumultuous 2017 market), come ask Blank your questions!

And while you’re at it, be sure to follow the Gamasutra Twitch channel for more developer interviews, editor roundtables and gameplay commentary.
