In case you hadn’t heard, yesterday developer Mothership released a sci-fi simulation game called Aven Colony onto Steam, Xbox One and PS4. In our time playing the game we’ve been intrigued by the process of managing all the game's underlying systems, as well as some of the unique UI decisions made to help players keep track of their huge amount of buildings.

To get answers about these design questions for Aven Colony, we’ve invited Mothership’s Paul Tozour to join us on the Gamasutra Twitch channel today at 4PM EDT. If you’re working on a simulation game yourself, or are just curious about the field, you should join us in the chat to ask Tozour about his work and what it’s like building this kind of game with such a small team.

And while you’re at it, be sure to follow the Gamasutra Twitch channel for more developer interviews, editor roundtables and gameplay commentary.
