Chat with the developers of Opus Magnum at 3PM EDT
We're talking to Zach Barth and Matthew Burns and playing their new game Opus Magnum at 3PM EDT.
A couple weeks ago, Zach Barth, creator of Shenzen I/O, TIS-100, and other puzzle games, put out Opus Magnum, an alchemy puzzle game where players experiment with machine inputs to create desired chemical outcomes.
It's been a sleeper hit among game developers, with clever gifs of complicated machines popping up across our Twitter feed. We've got questions about how you make these kind of complicated puzzle games, and fortunately Barth and collaborator Matthew Burns have agreed to answer them!
So today at 3PM EDT on the Gamasutra Twitch channel, we're streaming Opus Magnum and chatting with Barth and Burns about their work on the game. As always, we invite Gamasutra readers to join our discussion in Twitch chat!
And while you're at it, be sure to follow the Gamasutra Twitch channel for more developer interviews, editor roundtables and gameplay commentary.
