Newsbrief: Intel-owned middleware company Havok today announced that its full development tools suite is now available to license for the Nintendo Wii U. Nintendo originally signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Havok early in 2012, allowing developers the opportunity to make use of Havok's Physics and Animation middleware for the Wii U console. With the Havok Vision Engine now also supported for Wii U development, Havok says that it is looking to really push the Wii U hardware with future Havok-powered titles. Current Wii U games that are powered by Havok include Darksiders II, Skylanders Giants, Assassin's Creed III, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.
