The Last Guardian, spiritual successor to Shadow of the Colossus, has been in development for 10 years. It’s a game that was conceived in the PS2 era but released for the PS4, and strives to build a bond between the player and a gigantic bird-dog creature.

Does it succeed? Does it fail? Has its 10-year-long development cycle affected its gameplay for better, or worse? We answer these questions and more today at 3PM EST, when we’ll (finally) be streaming The Last Guardian on our Twitch channel.

If you’re interested in analyzing The Last Guardian’s successes and failures, and how they might help you with your next game, be sure to tune in and chat with us to share your thoughts.

And while you’re at it, be sure to subscribe to Gamasutra’s Twitch channel for more developer interviews and gameplay commentary, and catch up on last week’s stream about the narrative design of Obsidian’s latest RPG Tyranny
