While we weren’t paying attention, Telltale’s latest game Batman: A Telltale Adventure, became one of the company’s most interesting and intriguing works with its licensed properties. It’s taken huge steps away from the Batman mythos in order to build up a player relationship with the character of Bruce Wayne, not just Batman, and set up a great mystery that plays with player expectations about who "Batman" is supposed to be.

Since Episode 3 landed yesterday, we thought we’d take the chance to examine the latest adventures of the boy who would be bat, and talk about the strengths and weaknesses of Telltale’s formula for adapting other media. So, if you want to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight, join us at 3PM EST on our Twitch channel for a stream of Batman: A Telltale Adventure.

We’ll also be chatting about this week’s game industry news, including the revelation that Bethesda would no longer be sending out advance review copies, and the fact that Telltale Games is listed as a partner for the Nintendo Switch. Come play with us!

And while you’re at it, be sure to catch up on last week’s discussion of the Nintendo Switch, and subscribe to our Twitch channel for regular developer updates and gameplay analysis.
