The folks at motion controller company Leap Motion are having another go at encouraging developers to make innovative use of Leap Motion tech this fall via a six-week "3D Jam" with a $50k prize pool.
Last year the company partnered with Indiecade to launch its inaugural 3D Jam with a $75k prize pool, the winners of which all built VR games and experiences like Aboard the Lookinglass and Weightless.
This time around the prize pool is smaller and does not include perks like IndieCade East booth space for the winner, but it still offers developers an opportunity to potentially make a bit of money while flexing their creative design muscles.
The competition kicks off September 28th with two tracks, one for AR/VR experiences and one for all other platforms. For more details and to register your interest, check out the Leap Motion website.
