With the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. right around the bend, its original creative lead sheds some light on tiny secrets of the franchise.
Super Mario Bros. is on the cusp of turning 30; it was released on the Nintendo Famicom, the Japanese version of the NES, on September 13, 1985.

The Q&A isn't exactly profoundly revealing, but it's likely to put a smile on your face; it's a nice contrast to the much headier 1998 interview that surfaced today, in which Miyamoto espouses his development philosophy much more seriously.
