Newsbrief: The folks behind the annual SIGGRAPH computer graphics conference have released an interesting preview of some of the papers that will be presented at SIGGRAPH 2014 in Vancouver this August, and many of them include abstracts, videos, sample code and other assets that you can peruse. Among them are sessions from researchers at Microsoft, Nvidia, and a bevy of high-profile universities on topics like "Unified Particle Physics for Real-Time Applications" and "Facial Performance Enhancement Using Dynamic Shape Space Analysis", topics that have meaningful implications for the future of game development. Perhaps most importantly, SIGGRAPH has released its annual technical papers teaser trailer for the 2014 conference, which we've taken the liberty of embedding above.
