Newsbrief Valve has released an update for its Source SDK, adding Mac OS X and Linux build and run support for mod developers, and allowing for virtual reality support through the Oculus Rift in mods. The Source SDK 2013 release also allows mod developers to share their changes via the SDK more easily, while the Hammer Editor and other mod tools now ship with their respective games, instead of separately as part of the SDK Launcher. All the details regarding this latest update can be found on the Steam website.
