Now that the holiday triple-A release storm has blown over, indie developers have begun popping out of their holes in the ground, checking the air for sign that it's safe to release their games. One of the first out of the gate as we head into December is Battle Chef Brigade: an anime-influenced cooking/combat game from the fine folks over at Trinket Studios.

Since Battle Chef Brigade seems to have found a fine following (it tripled its Kickstarter goal!) we've invited Trinket Studios co-founder Tom Eastman onto the Gamasutra Twitch channel at 3PM EST for a chat about the game's development and release.

If you're curious about this hard merge of game genres, or just want to know about making games in Chicago, be sure to jump into Twitch chat with your questions!

And while you're at it, be sure to follow the Gamasutra Twitch channel for more developer interviews, editor roundtables and gameplay commentary.
