Fun fact, in a few weeks, there will be TWO games you can purchase on PSN that are called Star Wars Battlefront II. Both of them are Battlefield-like Star Wars games that put you in the boots of a common Star Wars soldier, but only one of them has a multiplayer beta going on right now in advance of its release.

So today at 3PM EDT, because we at Gamasutra love Star Wars games, we’re going to be streaming the Battlefront II beta for your perusal. We might be discussing the popularity of “multiplayer betas” these days, but in reality we’re probably going to be pinned down by MTT fire or running away from Darth Maul.

While you’re at it, be sure to follow the Gamasutra Twitch channel for more gameplay commentary, editor roundtables and developer interviews.
