Electronic Arts' first-person online-centric shooter Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is targeted primarily towards the West, but enough Japanese gamers bought the PS3 to put it in the top 10 for the week ended March 14. Media Create said last week that the PS3 version of the game debuted at number seven for the week, selling 28,353 units. The Xbox 360 version landed in the 14th slot (Media Create does not publish weekly sales figures outside of the top 10). Japan's popular Famitsu magazine gave the game 34/40. The DICE-developed Battlefield: Bad Company 2 launched in North America and Europe earlier this March, and has sold 2.3 million units to date, DICE recently said. The shooter was among five new entries on the top 10 games list for the week. The other four new games were Sony-published Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! 3D for PSP, Koei's Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce 2, Zettai Hero: Modification Project, and Enterbrain's RPG Maker DS. Pokemon Ranger: Tracks of Light for Nintendo DS led the charts once again, as Nintendo platforms controlled six of the ten slots on the rankings. Below are Media Create's top 10 rankings by unit sales for the week ended March 14:
