Autumn Games, the young company co-publishing 4mm Games' Def Jam Rapstar with Konami, said Monday that it added a former Lucasfilm exec as executive VP of the publisher. Jeffrey Ulin, formerly Lucasfilm’s senior distribution executive, will lead Autumn Games' global distribution and business affairs, a press statement said. He also managed Lucas Online and advised George Lucas and different company divisions on key partnerships, the company said. New York-based Autumn Games was founded in 2007 as a joint venture between Communications Equity Associates and Autumn Entertainment Partners. The music game Def Jam Rapstar, due to release on October 5 on Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, is the publisher's first major release, and the company is also at work on other unannounced properties. "[Ulin's] tremendous experience in media distribution with some of the most iconic properties in history will be a great asset to Autumn Games as we continue to roll out a new model for video game publishing," said the publisher's CEO Alex Collmer. Ulin also was co-founder and CEO of the film studio Wild Brain, where he co-created the animated kids' series Higglytown Heroes for Disney and raised private venture capital.
