Square Enix's PSP-exclusive fighting game Dissidia: 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy premiered on top of the Japanese sales charts this week, reports tracking firm Media Create. Dissidia: 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy pits a number of the RPG franchise's most popular characters against each other using a one-on-one 3D battle system, and boasts a more robust single player campaign than its 2008 predecessor, Dissidia Final Fantasy. For the week ended March 6, Dissidia sold 286,117 units, followed by Spike's Way of the Samurai 4 for PlayStation 3, which debuted at 70,380 units sold. Level 5's Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle remains the best selling title for the Nintendo 3DS, claiming the number three spot and selling 59,138 units this week. Namco Bandai's Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars - Blue / Red and Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto - Ginga Bishounen Densetsu also grabbed a spot on the charts within their first week, landing at numbers seven and 10, respectively. Titles falling from the top 10 this week include Capcom's Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition, Namco Bandai's Ridge Racer 3D, and Nippon Ichi Software's Disgaea 4. Below is Media Create's top 20 sales chart for the week ended March 6, 2011.
