James Silva's Xbox Live Indie Game I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1 for Xbox 360 has revealed new stats, following its surpassing of the 200,000 unit sales mark in March. As of this month, the game has recorded 300,000 paid downloads, making it the highest-selling Xbox Live Indie Game of all time. Created by James Silva-led New York based developers Ska Studios and priced at just $1, the top-down shooter is well-known for its theme song of the same name. Alongside the announcement, Ska Studios revealed they would celebrate this new sales record by releasing the theme song for the Rock Band Network music store. The song will retail for $1, and can be played in Rock Band for the Xbox 360. Ska also announced a contest, which encourages gamers to upload their performances on YouTube using the tag “RBN-Z0MB1ES”. They will choose from the best performances and award prizes to the winners. In addition, to sate fan requests, Ska Studios has announced a partnership with retailer Hot Topic to produce a fan-designed t-shirt, which can be purchased through the Hot Topic online store when it is released this September. Ska Studios is an indie game operation run by James Silva (a.k.a. Jamezila), who also created Xbox Live Arcade titles such as The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai and indie titles ZP2K9 and Zombie Smashers X4 Guitarpocalypse.
