Take-Two this week announced a new downloadable expansion for Red Dead Redemption, the zombie-filled Undead Nightmare Pack, which will also be included in a new standalone retail bundle. The retail version of Undead Nightmare is a single, standalone disc that includes the Red Dead Redemption expansions Undead Nightmare Pack, Outlaws to the End co-op mission pack, Legends and Killers, Liars and Cheats and all of the multiplayer free roam modes released to date. Being standalone, the retail bundle will not require the full version of Red Dead Redemption to play and will be available at physical retail for $29.99. The downloadable Undead Nightmare will cost $10 and arrive on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network on October 29. It will require the original Red Dead Redemption to play and adds a new single-player narrative, as well as different types of zombies. Take-Two took the same retail DLC strategy with the 2008 blockbuster Grand Theft Auto IV, eventually releasing the game's downloadable content on a standalone disc at retail.
