The Game Audio Network Guild has announced the finalists for its ninth annual G.A.N.G. Awards, with Red Dead Redemption and Dante's Inferno among the leading titles at 10 and seven nominations, respectively. G.A.N.G is a non-profit trade group for game audio professionals founded in 2002. Its annual awards are voted on and judged by its membership, numbering 2,000 members from over 30 countries. Members vote on nominees chosen by the group's 70 person advisory committee. "I hate to sound redundant, but each and every year the quality and workmanship of the industry continues to soar higher and higher," said Tommy Tallarico, G.A.N.G. Founder, CEO and Chairman. G.A.N.G. President Paul Lipson said that the awards received over 350 submissions, and "just making it to the final nomination process is something to be very proud of." Final voting has already begun, and winners will be announced March 3 in San Francisco during the 2011 Game Developers Conference.
