Ubisoft announced today that Shaun White Skateboarding would be the publisher's second game to support stereoscopic display on 3DTVs. Both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the title will use Sensio 3D technology, which Ubisoft last used in last year's release of Avatar: The Game. "The gaming experience is very sensitive to image quality, and we know from past collaboration with Sensio that the company's Sensio 3D format delivers the highest-quality images," said Shaun White Skateboarding Executive Producer Patrick Naud. The announcement comes just months after Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said he thought the market for stereoscopic 3D games will not be strong until next year. That said, Ubisoft UK Marketing Head Murray Pannell has said he "wouldn't rule out the fact that [3D TVs] will be installed in everyone's living room in three year's time." Ubisoft has previously announced that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will support stereoscopic 3D graphics when its released to consoles in the first quarter of 2011.
