Vice City Protests Continue

Despite Take-Two officials agreeing to demands to sanitize dialogue in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, various US protest groups have now begun to demand that all existing copies of the game be removed from shop shelves – until they can be replaced with the new version. In a fairly ludicrous statement Jean-Robert Lafortune, of the Haitian-American Grassroots Coalition, has suggested that, "The presence of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the shelves of national distributors and retailers ... continues to constitute a clear and present danger for Haitian nationals in the United States. Residents of Little Haiti (in Miami) have become like a sitting duck." This despite the game having been released over a year ago on PlayStation 2 and no errant gamers having attempted in that time, to “kill all Haitians”.
