2007 E3 Media Summit Exhibitor List Detailed

An exhibitor list for the ESA's revamped E3 Media & Business Summit has been made available to attendees, detailing the 32 companies showing games at the July event, and including major platform-holders alongside some of the world's leading publishers. The July 11th-13th event, which was originally confirmed last October, is majorly scaled down compared to the gigantic E3 Expo events of previous years. It's intended to "...offer the opportunity for both ESA members and non-members to stage major press events, and to have personal meetings in hotel suites and meeting rooms with media, retailers, developer partners, and other key industry contacts." Therefore, the full current list of exhibitors, as sent to Gamasutra (and first obtained by game site Shacknews), is as follows: 1C Company, Activision, Akella, Atari, Atlus, Buena Vista Games, Capcom, Codemasters, Crave Entertainment, Eidos, Electronic Arts, Foundation9, Konami, Id Software, Logitech, LucasArts, Majesco, Microsoft, Midway, Namco Bandai Games, NCsoft, Nintendo, Nyko, Sega, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony Online Entertainment, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive, THQ, Ubisoft, Vivendi Games, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. In previous years, attendance at E3 reached 60,000 in 2006, down slightly from the 70,000 in 2005. Indeed, more than 400 companies were cited as exhibiting during E3 2006, including a large amount of smaller overseas publishing, developing, and peripheral companies. But with smaller amounts of relevant retail buyers, and major publisher pushback against spending for the event, which is organized by trade body the ESA, this year's smaller event is predicted to have 3,000 to 4,000 attendees, according to the official website.
