The Game Developers’ Association of Australia is calling for submissions for Game Connect Asia Pacific's 2010 program, which will take place at the the Gold Coast Convention Center this October.
Game Developers’ Association of Australia organizers have announced that it is now accepting presentation proposals for this year's Game Connect Asia Pacific, which will be held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on Thursday, October 14th and Friday, October 15, 2010. The GDAA is currently accepting abstracts through the close of business on Friday, September 10th to present panels, round table discussions, lectures and more at this year's Game Connect. The Australian game development conference introduces the theme "The Player Experience" for this year's event and breaks down the development process into individual parts, approaching the experience from the eyes of the consumer. CEO Antony Reed says of the event, "With such an exciting and thought provoking theme as 'The Player Experience' at the very heart of what we’re doing this year, we’re gearing up for a community driven GCAP." "This year the industry will come together to dissect the global games industry and look at how, with investment from every discipline in the game making process, we come up with amazing new game concepts and gameplay innovations," reed adds.
