Acclaim announced further changes to its senior management team today, appointing former EA executive Randy Dersham to the position of General Manager and Vice President of Acclaim Studios Austin.
Dersham will report to Barry Jafrato, Senior Vice President of Studios for Acclaim, and will oversee all games coming out of the Austin studio. The Austin studio is responsible for the All Star Baseball and Turok franchises, among others. Prior to joining Acclaim, Dersham served as General Manager and Executive Producer for Electronics Arts, where he supervised a team of up to 120 employees and shipped the ill-fated multiplayer Internet game, Motor City Online. Prior to EA, he held the title of Senior Vice President of Product Development and Marketing for Cendant Software, where he helped create the Sierra Sports brand and supervised over 450 people across four studios.
