The Australian Center For The Moving Image, located in Melbourne, Australia, has announced the latest exhibition as part of its new Games Lab area, named 'Sonic The Hedgehog: Icon Of Our Time'. According to organizers, the exhibition, which runs from Wednesday June 22nd to Sunday October 2nd, 2005, the exhibition "lets you experience the evolution of game technology from simple 2D 'side scrollers' to intricate 3D worlds", and features playable version of multiple Sonic games, including Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic Spinball, Sonic R, and Sonic Heroes, as well as showings of the Sonic X animated series, and other exhibits and interactive titles.
