AGC and WGC 2005 Conferences Dates Announced

The Games Initiative has announced that the third-annual Austin Game Conference (AGC) will take place on Thursday and Friday, October 27-28, 2005 in Austin, Texas. According to show management, the 2004 conference was attended by over 1,400 people, an increase of 850 over the first year’s event. At the same time it has been announced that the 2005 Women’s Game Conference (WGC) will take place Wednesday and Thursday, October 26-27, 2005. More than 150 women from the game industry attended the first WGC this September, to discuss issues such as gender-inclusive game design, women as consumers of games and career paths for women.
