Tira Wireless has announced that Airborne Entertainment has licensed the Tira Jump Product Suite, which enables enables automated cross-platform porting of mobile phone games, reducing the amount of effort necessary to convert a title from one handset specification to another. According to Tira, when using the Tira Jump suite, developers can save time and resources while maximizing the number of platforms their games are offered on. The Tira Jump Product Suite enables Airborne to brings its mobile content deployment processes in-house. Tira Jump supports the deployment of mobile applications across 250 different handsets, and, according to the company, Airborne can achieve new efficiencies in publishing content for global consumption, and increase its time to market and cost advantages. Airborne joins the ranks of other leading mobile entertainment companies, including Disney Mobile, Sony Pictures Mobile, THQ Wireless, T-Mobile, TELUS Mobility, Sony Ericsson, and Nokia, that have also licensed Tira Jump to manage the deployment of their mobile content assets.
