These are approximate guesstimates, please give more accurate numbers if ur that type of person:

PSThWii360: 250 million consoles and counting, shipped worldwide

PS2: 200 million (including Dreamcast/Gamecube/Xbox)

Every other gen of consoles: way less than the above two figures.

So stop daydreaming about the day when consoles are no longer. IT. willl. never. happen. Like ever

My PS3 grows weary, it has seen many battles...Goodbye PS3, maybe we'll meet again when robots take over the Earth and you'll show me mercy.

PlayStation 4: If u can hear, gash dangit i am excited to play with you, PS4!??!?!?! We did it! You're here, and Sony delivered the goods (again). Can't wait. But no more launch parties for me, i'm so over that, i can wait a few weeks or months. Just don't change the console for at least 6 months, to give us hardcores some time to convince our significant others that we NEED a PS4, and so we can get 1st gen PS4s.
