Officials from publisher Atari have announced the line up of titles expected to be displayed during the upcoming second annual New York Comic Con 2007, taking place at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City from February 23-25. Among those titles being brought to the event by Atari will be three upcoming releases, including Godzilla: Unleashed for the Wii and Nintendo DS, Bullet Witch for the Xbox 360, and Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road for the PSP. In development by Pipeworks Software (Rampage: Total Destruction), Godzilla: Unleashed is described as “the ultimate giant fighting monsters game,” and represents the latest game in the Godzilla fighting monsters franchise that began in 2002 with Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters. In addition to the Wii and DS version being shown at the event, the game is also in development for the PSP as well. Bullet Witch is described as a third person action title that draws inspiration from American horror and Japanese fantasy monsters. In addition, Atari has noted that it will provide downloadable content for the game post-launch over Xbox Live, including additional character costumes and extra levels. Finally, Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road is a portable title will be focused on multiplayer wi-fi battles in a new story arc following the future world of Trunks on his adventures against rival Majin Buu. "Comic Con is a natural environment for Atari to showcase several of the company's upcoming games, especially those titles that lend themselves to the anime and popular culture worlds," said Nique Fajors, Atari's vice president of marketing and sales. "While Godzilla: Unleashed, Bullet Witch and DBZ Shin Budokai: Another Road offer different gameplay features, storylines and visual flair, all three share a common bond of Japanese art and influence -- a bond that has been extremely prevalent in comics and other popular art forms."
