This week's chart is a stark change from the sluggish movement on the Australian charts of the last few weeks: the PSP has arrived down under, and PSP games have completely taken over the all-format charts -- if it wasn't for the presence of Pokémon Emerald at #9, it could easily be mistaken for a single-format ranking. (Interestingly, this means the chart for this week is still entirely handheld games.) Racing games are tops with Australian fans, as Need for Speed Underground Rivals and Ridge Racer take the top positions on the chart, and the little-known, Codemasters-developed V8 Supercars 2 (apparently an Australian variant of the European ToCA Race Driver 2 series) debuts at #4. Apart from that, Sony takes four of the spots with its first-party releases, and Atari does well by licensing Metal Gear Ac!d in Australasia from Konami.
