Boxx Technologies has announced the release of Juggler. Juggler is a powerful, easy to use network render management solution supporting Alias Wavefront’s Maya on Windows 2000 or Linux. Juggler features a centralized interface that gives users flexibility and management options, including the ability to tap CPU power on desktop workstations during off-peak hours. Other Juggler features include:
Support for an unlimited number of user-defined priority queues
Monitor all render nodes on the network via a centralized manager
Real-time CPU, memory and network traffic monitors
Detailed job progress monitoring and real-time viewing of Maya log files
Flexible frame grouping to specify how animations are distributed across processors
Extensive error reporting with the power to resubmit single or multiple frames from failed jobs
Generic interface to submit any batch command or script
Boxx Technologies is offering a free two-node evaluation version of Juggler for download at the Boxx website. Juggler is now shipping at $200 per node.
