CanDo Interactive has announced Version 1 of its 3D Training Toolkit for colleges, universities and training centers who teach 3D modelling skills to students. According to the company, the training toolkit application keeps the students' interest high by allowing them to export into an interactive environment (using a simple, single export process) in a matter of seconds. These levels can then be viewed online for review by peers, lecturers, or potential employers. Many 3D applications are supported, including 3DS Max, Maya, Lightwave, TrueSpace/GameSpace, formZ, Cinema 4D, and so on. CanDo are running a competition with prizes for the best levels created using their application. A 'free for personal usage' version is available for download.
