Cinema chain Cineplex Entertainment announced a partnership with Xbox Canada to offer Xbox 360 private gaming sessions at participating locations throughout Canada. Starting August 15th, customers can spend $179 (plus tax) to reserve a two-hour Xbox 360 gaming session -- outside of regular movie showtimes -- for up to twelve people at Cineplex theatres. Each theatre will provide an Xbox 360 console, four wireless controllers, and a library of titles for gamers to play using the theatre's screens, which are usually limited to displaying films. Gamers can also bring their own games to play. Said Cineplex Entertainment's vice president of Communications and Investor Relations Part Marshall: "We are pleased to exclusively partner with Xbox 360 to bring the gaming experience to our big screens. This unique experience is great for parties and events for groups of two to twelve and will make the gaming experience larger than life."
