Independent development company Climax has announced the appointment of game industry veteran Jonas Eneroth as president of its London based studio. In this position, Eneroth assumes responsibility for the day-to-day running of the studio, with added focus on the mobile and handheld sector. Eneroth's background in the industry includes time spent at Bungie, where he was an early employee working on versions of Marathon and Myth, before working as a UK-based producer for Eidos Interactive on titles including Hitman, and also includes a stint as co-founder of mobile and MMO developer Wired Realms. Climax continues to operate multiple studios, including a newly formed development unit in Los Angeles, which it has been heavily recruiting for. The company's notable released titles include Xbox RPG Sudeki for Microsoft, MotoGP 3 for THQ on Xbox and PC, and PlayStation 2 racing title ATV Offroad Fury 3 for Sony. Karl Jeffrey, CEO of Climax, commented of Eneroth: "He's the ideal man for the job and we know his input will help the London studio to achieve even higher standards of excellence."
