Congressmen Introduce Entertainment Marketing Bill
A new bill pending in the United States House of Representatives would ban the marketing of adult rated entertainment products to children.

The House of Representatives Media Marketing Accountability Act, co-sponsored by New York’s Steve Israel and Oklahoma’s Tom Osborne, closely mirrors a similar bill introduced in the Senate by Herb Kohl and Joseph Lieberman. Both bills would empower the Federal Trade Commission to levy fines against firms that voluntarily label a movie, song or video game as adults only, but market it to kids.
