Connection Events Announces Game Connection Advisory Board

Game business event producer Connection Events has announced the members of its advisory board, which was formed during the most recent Game Developers Conference and consists of game industry professionals representing such companies as Foundation 9, Konami, and Microsoft. The board will help drive the growth of the organization's Game Connection events, which allow developers to meet with game publishers in one-on-one meetings in order for developers to demonstrate products and prototypes to the publishers so that business arrangements can be potentially negotiated. The next Game Connection event is currently scheduled to take place in Tokyo in September, while the organization's major annual event in Lyon will happen this December 4-6. “All the board’s members bring an expertise in creating worldwide development opportunities,” said Kurt Busch, vice president of product development at Konami Digital Entertainment. “As interactive entertainment production becomes even more globalized, the ability to identify these opportunities becomes even more critical.
