Cubicspace Studios is now shipping Thunder 3D, an all-encompassing 3D positional sound plug-in for 3D Studio max and Noise Library Essentials, a content library of 1,500 original sound samples. Thunder 3D includes Sensura’s 3DPA technology, enabling sound to be heard in 3D from only two speakers with headphones. Thunder 3D enables artists to incorporate sound while working on their 3D animations, and supports professional features including material occlusion and dynamic reverb. Thunder 3D Positional Sound System is now available for $399. Noise Library Essentials provides 1,500 original sound samples across 11 categories including ambience, hits and scrapes, sci-fi, animals, household, human machinery, sport, ear candy and transport. The sound clips are all sampled at 48KHz and provided in WAV format, the uncompressed industry standard. The collections are compatible with any PC Windows application. Noise Library Essentials is provided with a royalty-free, commercial-use license, and is priced at $99.
