The deadline to apply for a writing internship, via a new contest held by the National Screen Institute of Canada and Zeros 2 Heroes, is April 28. BioWare, which recently joined the progam, will be offering at least one of the internship placements.
The National Screen Institute of Canada and Telefilm Canada, in collaboration with Zeros 2 Heroes Media, are holding a contest to find interns for writing gigs in the video game industry. The competition, called NSI playWrite, is designed to give new Canadian writers a way to break into the video game space. Organizers of the program recently announced that BioWare had joined the scheme as a partner who will provide an internship to a winner announced in August 2008.
