The Easter holidays, traditionally one of the UK’s busiest sales times of the year outside of the Christmas period, have seen EA’s re-launch of the Command & Conquer franchise enjoy its second week at number one, despite being currently available only on PC and enduring a fall in sales of 43 percent. Command & Conquer 3’s closest rival, separated by a mere 592 units, has been Ubisoft’s TMNT movie tie-in, which despite poor reviews has risen a further four places, as the film continues to perform at the box office. Also rising sharply is PlayStation 2 and Wii release Medal of Honor: Vanguard at number four, with the PlayStation 2 version still accounting for 84 percent of the title’s overall sales. The highest selling Xbox 360 game of the week is Guitar Hero II, which sees the former PlayStation 2 exclusive re-enter the charts at number five. The highest ranked PlayStation 3 exclusive is Resistance: Fall of Man, falling nine places to number eleven, with MotorStorm dropping twelve places to number fifteen. The highest ranked Wii (pseudo)-exclusive of the week is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which re-enters the chart at number thirty-two. An improved stock situation has also seen Rayman Raving Rabbids re-enter the charts at number sixteen, with Wii Play at number thirty-six. Despite the additional inventory the console remains sold out across the country.
