After news earlier in the week that Atari had sold its remaining interests in developer Oddworld Inhabitants and that Microsoft had passed on publishing its next game, it has been revealed that Electronic Arts have picked up the global publishing rights to the developer's next title i currently codenamed Stranger.

The game will be released next year for both Xbox and PlayStation 2. The company's previous game,Munch's Oddysee, had been an exclusive launch title for the Xbox.
