In this latest Gamasutra art gallery, we feature the animation of Roman Kochnev, a freelance artist from Krasnogorsk, Russia, whose work has been featured in the PC titles Parkan II and Neuro, and is currently working on art for the PC game IL-2 Sturmovik/Pacific Fighters. His concept art and wallpaper/cover designs showcased in this gallery include work illustrating vintage planes, space ship and environment concepts, and alien hybrids, and as for his influences, Kochnev comments: "Add my name to the many victims of Star Wars. During my studies at Moscow art college, I saw the movie for the first time and I was hooked." You can learn more about Kochnev and view some of his work in this latest Gamasutra art gallery.
