CDV Software USA has announced that former Infogrames and Atari president of publishing Christian Gloe has been appointed the parent company's new CEO, as well as the appointment of former Intel manager Arne Peters as its new COO. Gloe has held various executive positions for the past few decades, including stints at L'Oreal, Virgin Interactive and Crave Entertainment. During his time at Infogrames / Atari, CDV says he was "notably responsible for the restructuring and expansion of the European and Asian distribution business," leading the global publishing business at Atari's New York office since 2004. CDV also announced Arne Peters' appointment, who is joining the company from Intel where he served as "segment manager for consumer software and solutions." The two are expected to "continue the company’s efforts to become a global full service provider" following what it calls "extensive and successful turnaround efforts in Europe." CDV has recently published Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, The History Channel Great Battles of Rome, and TARR Chronicles, and will soon release Escape from Paradise City and Pacific Storm Allies. Said CDV USA CEO Tom Gross, who also formerly held a position at Atari, “We’re extremely excited about Christian and Arne joining our parent company, and we look forward to the strength our combined management presents to the industry, not only in North America, but across the globe.”
