Former Vivendi, Ubisoft Head Hired As Warner Bros Games President

Publisher Warner Bros Interactive has announced that it hired former Vivendi Worldwide Studios and Ubisoft Montreal president Martin Tremblay as its own new president, where he will set long-term direction for its worldwide entertainment strategy.

Publisher Warner Bros Interactive has announced that it hired former Vivendi Worldwide Studios and Ubisoft Montreal president Martin Tremblay as its own new president, where he will set long-term direction for its worldwide entertainment strategy. Tremblay had formerly served as Vivendi's president since 2006. Prior to that he served as Ubisoft's Montreal studio president and COO, overseeing the increase in its staff from 350 employees to 1500. Warner Bros Entertainment president Kevin Tsujihara called Tremblay a "talented, highly respected executive" with "solid relationships across the industry." Said Tremblay of the move, "Warner Bros. has been creating, licensing and publishing some of the best in class interactive entertainment out there today. I look forward to working with the team of talented and creative people at WBIE to expand on the great work they are already doing."
