Representatives from Connection Events have announced that registration for the Game Connection @ GDC business event, held March 8-9 during the 2007 GDC, will close on February 5th, 2007. Also announced by Connection Events is Game Connection Services, a side-event adding new opportunities for service providers to meet at the same time as developers and publishers. The new Services event will bring in companies providing outsourcing, animation, Quality Assurance, technology tools, and 3D for the games industry, along with Game Connection @ GDC's formal focus on developers and publishers. The events, while not formally affiliated with GDC organizers CMP Media, will be held during the 2007 GDC in the South Hall of San Francisco's Moscone Center March 8th and 9th. Game Connection will also be expanding in 2007 with Game Connection Asia and Game Connection Europe on December 4-6, 2007 in Lyon, France. “Game Connection has brought together hundreds of developers and publishers in an effort to get great titles made and into the hands of consumers,” said Pierre Carde, general director of Connection Events. "With millions of dollars of deals made at past events we knew it was time to allow service providers to come and reap the same benefits. Our goal is to make it easy for companies to find the right customer for their services and products and buyers to save time and get great deals.” For more information on Game Connection and registration details visit the official Game Connection website.
