The organizers of the Game Developers Conference have announced the Call For Submissions for the 2006 GDC, which is to be held from March 20th to March 24th, 2006 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. The submissions, which can be submitted via the official GDC website, and for which the submission deadline is August 1st, include opportunities to present lectures, roundtables, longer tutorials and 'poster sessions' on a variety of topics, from production and business through programming, art, and audio. Each abstract will be rated by the Game Developers Conference advisory board before final decisions are made on precise topics and lectures later in the year. This year's GDC advisory board consists of a number of senior industry figures including Cerny Games' Mark Cerny, Factor 5's Julian Eggebrecht, Nihilistic Software's Rob Huebner, Ubisoft's Julien Merceron, Shiny Entertainment's David Perry, Electronic Arts' Alan Yu, and many others.
