According to figures from Nintendo of America the GameCube has outsold both the PlayStation 2 and Xbox over the Thanksgiving weekend, with sales of over half a million systems – beaten only by the company’s own Game Boy Advance which enjoyed almost 600,000 units sales. Coming after the recent sales cut the company could end up selling more systems in the last eight weeks of the year than in the previous ten months combined.
