This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending November 17, highlight the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut. Xbox 360 releases again ranked as the overall top requested titles across all platforms for the week, with Activision's World War II first-person shooter Call of Duty 3 replacing last week's Gears of War as the title dominating for the week. Epic's futuristic action title was the second most requested title for the week, followed by Vivendi's Xbox 360 port of the popular PC horror action title, F.E.A.R. GameFly requests for titles for the recently released PlayStation 3 console were topped by Sony's Resistance: Fall of Man. Sony Online Entertainment's Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom ranked second on the chart, followed by Sony's Genji: Days of the Blade. Wii requests were again dominated by Ubisoft's Wii-exclusive Red Steel, while Atlus' Trauma Center: Second Opinion and Nintendo's own The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess took up the following two spots on the Wii chart respectively. Interestingly, Activision dominated original Xbox requests for the week, with titles from the company accounting for each of the console's top three requests. Tony Hawk's Project 8 was the most requested Xbox release for the week, followed by Call of Duty 3 and and action RPG Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. PlayStation 2 requests were again topped by THQ's latest WWE-branded wrestling title, WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007. Namco's Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles ranked second in terms of PlayStation 2 requests, followed by Take Two's controversial sandbox game Bully. The upcoming GameCube version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess again ranked as the most requested title for Nintendo's established console platform. Midway's video game adaptation of the animated film Happy Feet was the second most requested GameCube release for the week, followed by LucasArts' LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. Game Boy Advance requests were again led by Square Enix's Final Fantasy V, while Nintendo's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue remained in the second spot on the chart in as many weeks. The top three Game Boy Advance requests were rounded out by D3P's Naruto: Ninja Council 2. Yoshi's Island DS floated to the top of the Nintendo DS request chart for the week, followed by Square Enix's Final Fantasy II. Last week's top DS title, rhythm game Elite Beat Agents, fell to the third spot on the chart for the week. Turning to the PSP, Sony's Killzone: Liberation was again the most requested title for the handheld, followed by SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 and Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
