This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending October 20, highlights the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut. The week saw Rockstar's PlayStation 2 exclusive Bully push to the top of the all platform chart for the week, knocking last week's most popular release, Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent, into the second spot on the chart. Microsoft's upcoming Epic Games-developed Gears of War for the Xbox 360 was the third most requested game across all platforms for the week. Looking at the Xbox 360 exclusively, requests for titles for the platform were topped by Splinter Cell Double Agent and Gears of War, while Activision's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance ranked third in overall Xbox 360 software requests. On the original Xbox, THQ's Destroy All Humans 2 was the most requested title, followed by Eidos' Justice League Heroes and Activision's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance . As mentioned, Bully reigned as the most requested title for the week, both in terms of overall and specific PlayStation 2 requests. Eidos' Justice League Heroes was the second most requested PlayStation 2 title for the week, while the top three requests for the console were rounded out by Square Enix's upcoming epic RPG, Final Fantasy XII. THQ's Avatar: The Last Airbender ranked on top of GameCube requests for the week, followed by Vivendi Universal's latest game in its series of games starring Spyro the dragon, Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. Electronic Arts' The Sims 2: Pets was the third most requested GameCube title for the period. Turning to the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team was the most requested title for the handheld. D3P's Naruto: Ninja Council 2 ranked second on the chart, followed by Nintendo's Pokemon Emerald. Requests for titles on the Nintendo DS were topped by Atlus' recently shipped RPG Contact, followed by Nintendo's Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis and the Touch Generations-branded release Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends.
