This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending March 23, highlight both to-be-released and already released games in a unique demand-specific chart. This week's top title across all platforms happened to be Ubisoft's multiplatform movie adaptation TMNT, followed by Nintendo's upcoming action RPG sequel for the Wii, Super Paper Mario. The third most requested game by GameFly subscribers for the week was Sega's giant robot shooter Armored Core 4. TMNT also topped all Xbox 360 requests for the week, followed by Armored Core 4. Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, which was last week's top requested title across all platforms, fell a bit to take the third place spot on the Xbox 360 chart for the week. On the original Xbox, it was Vivendi's Scarface: The World Is Yours that took the top spot for the week, followed by EA's shooter Black and Activision's Call of Duty 3. PlayStation 3 requests were once again topped by Sony's racing game MotorStorm, with the PS3 version of EA's The Godfather: The Don's Edition taking the second position followed by Bethesda's role-playing epic Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Elsewhere, Super Paper Mario ranked as the top Wii request, followed by Majesco's Cooking Mama: Cook Off and Electronic Arts' Wii port of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. As in previous weeks, God of War II ranked as the top requested PlayStation 2 release for the week among GameFly subscribers. The action adventure epic was followed by Electronic Arts' Medal of Honor: Vanguard, and the previously mentioned TMNT. TMNT also proved popular among GameCube owners, with the title usurping the console's thrown from long reigning The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which fell to second. The third most requested GameCube title for the week was the mini-game collection Mario Party 7. Nintendo DS requests were topped by a pair of Pokemon titles for the week, with Pokemon Diamond taking top honors followed by Pokemon Pearl. Buena Vista's RPG Spectrobes rounded out the top three requests for Nintendo's handheld for the week. Pokemon's popularity extended to the Game Boy Advance as well, with Pokemon Emerald on top of that handheld's weekly chart. The following two spots on the chart were filled out by a pair of Final Fantasy releases in Final Fantasy VI Advance and Final Fantasy V in second and third respectively. Finally, looking to the PSP, the top requested game for the week once again was Eidos' movie inspired 300: March to Glory, followed by Atari's Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road and Sony's own Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters.
