This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending November 10, highlight the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut. As was the case last week, this week's most popular titles across all platforms came from Microsoft's Xbox 360, with all requests for the week being topped by Epic and Microsoft's recently shipped close combat game, Gears of War. Activision's military shooter, Call of Duty 3, was the second most requested title for the week, followed by Vivendi's Xbox 360 port of the popular PC horror action title, F.E.A.R. Activision's Call of Duty 3 also proved popular on the original Xbox as well, leading all requests for the week for the platform. Another Activison title, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, was the second most requested Xbox title for the week, followed by Electronic Arts' Need for Speed: Carbon. PlayStation 2 requests, on the other hand, were topped by THQ's latest WWE-branded wrestling title, WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007. Take Two's controversial sandbox game Bully ranked second in terms of the PlayStation 2 requests, followed by Square Enix's role-playing epic, Final Fantasy XII. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess again ranked as the most requested GameCube title for the week, with EA's racing title Need for Speed: Carbon sitting idle in the second spot. Eidos' Bionicle Heroes rounded out the top three requests for Nintendo's current console platform for the week. Game Boy Advance requests were led by Square Enix's Nintendo published Final Fantasy V, which knocked Nintendo's own Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team after several weeks on the top of the chart. Nintendo's Pokemon Emerald remained the third most requested Game Boy Advance title for the week. Rhythm game Elite Beat Agents danced its way to the top of the Nintendo DS chart for the week, followed by Pokemon Ranger and Final Fantasy III. Turning to the PSP, Sony's Killzone: Liberation was the most requested title for the handheld, followed by SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 and Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. GameFly requests for titles for the PlayStation 3 were once again topped by Sony's Resistance: Fall of Man. Activision's Call of Duty 3 again ranked second on the chart, followed by Sony's Genji: Days of the Blade. Wii requests remained unchanged from the previous week, with Ubisoft's Wii-exclusive Red Steel on top of the chart, followed by Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Atlus' Trauma Center: Second Opinion.
